The prekindergarten teacher at Pinecrest is responsible for teaching the 4-year-old students who come to our school. This is a popular entry point at our school, with two or three sections and a class size no greater than 10. The teacher will co-develop and deliver engaging and age-appropriate instruction to our students. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early years education and a strong understanding of the principles of project-based learning. The teacher will work collaboratively with other teachers, administrators, and parents to create a positive and supportive learning environment but will ultimately be responsible for shepherding the students through this year of development.

Pinecrest School is an award-winning, independent school located inside the Beltway in Annandale, serving children ages 3 through sixth grade and offering summer camp.
